I'm Evelyn, I'm 18, and I live in the Czech Republic - in this incredible country, where ancient castles are hidden among green hills, and the streets smell of fresh trdelnik and history.

Nature for me is not just landscapes, it is my love and my home. I love wandering through the Czech forests, listening to the rustling of leaves and birdsong, or sitting by the river, breathing in the fresh air, saturated with the scent of pine needles and herbs. Nature teaches me to see beauty in simplicity: in a drop of dew, in the wind that plays with the leaves, or in the way the sun ray breaks through the branches.

I'm in my first year at university, studying to become a pastry chef, and it's like magic! Creating desserts is my thing: I love mixing flavors so that each pie or eclair becomes a small masterpiece, like Czech stained glass windows in cathedrals. I dream of one day opening my own pastry shop in Prague, where outside the window there will be paving stones and the Vltava, and inside there will be my cakes with a hint of wild berries, which I love to collect in the Czech forests.

I love Czech traditions: Christmas markets with hot wine, Easter markets with painted eggs and summer festivals where everything is filled with music and laughter. I dream of traveling the world, seeing jungles, deserts, the northern lights, but always returning to the Czech Republic to be inspired by its beauty and transfer this into my paintings and desserts. It's the little things that light me up: a flower breaking through the stones, the light of a lantern in the Prague fog, the perfect frosting on a cake, or the smell of a fresh bun from the bakery around the corner. Life is an adventure, and I run into it with an open heart, imbued with the Czech soul and sweet dreams!
